James Kelly

James Kelly is a director at Lument and is based in Atlanta, where he is responsible for structuring and financing multifamily and commercial assets utilizing Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and HUD/FHA platforms, as well as proprietary programs that include bridge and mezzanine loans.

Before joining legacy firm Hunt Real Estate Capital in 2010, James valued loan portfolios, failed bank assets, and distressed banks on behalf of private institutional investors seeking acquisitions. Prior to that, he was a senior production associate at CW Capital.

James earned a bachelor’s in finance from Virginia Tech. He is an active member of the Real Estate Group of Atlanta and the Real Estate Investment Advisory Council.
