Joshua Messier is a managing director at Lument. Based in New York, Josh is responsible for originating and structuring debt for the firm’s clients throughout the U.S. He began his career with Lument legacy firm Hunt Real Estate Capital in 2007. Since becoming an originator in 2013, he has structured and closed more than $1.3 billion of business.
Prior to joining Hunt, Josh was an assistant vice president at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. He was the business line controller for the investment and wealth management division, responsible for the financial planning and analysis of a $42 billion portfolio of assets. Before that, he was a financial analyst at Lehman Brothers in the fixed income and strategic business planning divisions.
Josh hold a bachelor’s in finance and a bachelor’s in information management and technology from Syracuse University.
