Chris Bergmann


Chris Bergmann is a managing director on the affordable housing real estate investment sales team at Lument and works out of Houston, Texas. He is responsible for all aspects of proposals, listings, and project assignments.

Prior to joining Lument, Chris worked as a director for Newmark Knight Frank where he assisted clients in the disposition of affordable housing assets and worked with clients needing to determine exit strategies for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and HUD-assisted properties. He also handled all aspects of the marketing process including client development, market research, valuation and underwriting.

Before joining Newmark Knight Frank, Chris was the senior managing director for Trammell Crow Residential where he was in charge of their Affordable Housing Division; and before that, he was president of The Shenandoah Group. He was responsible for the development of over 16,000 units of affordable housing during his tenure with both of these two firms.

Chris is a graduate of James Madison University where he earned a BBA degree in management and is a former president of the Texas Association of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), as well as a former board member of the organization.
