Matthew McCreary is a director and agency loan originator at Lument. He is responsible for originating multifamily opportunities nationwide, with a primary focus on Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and select bridge financings. His attention to detail, customer-focused approach, and product expertise allow him to provide efficient execution for a wide range of clients with specific needs.
Matthew joined Lument legacy firm RED Capital Group in 2018. He has extensive experience in the multifamily sector and has originated 200+ loans through various agency platforms. He also worked in acquisitions for the Shidler Group, where he helped model and source office and hospitality properties.
Matthew earned his MBA from the University of Hawaii, Shidler College of Business and his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of South Carolina, Moore School of Business. He is a member of the Surfrider Foundation and currently resides in Southern California.
