Scotty Nielson is a managing director with Lument, where he is responsible for originating Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, bridge, and CMBS loans for multifamily clients nationwide, with a focus on the Sunbelt. He is based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Prior to starting at Lument, Scotty worked at Walker & Dunlop as a director in the capital markets division, where he focused on originating and structuring Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and bridge financing solutions as part of a nationwide multifamily platform.
Before Walker & Dunlop, he served as vice president at Tower Capital, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based structured finance firm. He began his real estate career in 2019 with The Menlo Group, where he was vice president of capital markets, responsible for the company’s investment real estate initiatives.
Over the course of his career, Scotty has arranged and closed more than $565 million in financing, delivering capital solutions across GSE executions, bridge loans, and joint venture equity.
Scotty holds a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Sonoma State University.
