Tyler Barnes is a director on the affordable housing operations team at Lument, where he oversees the review, analysis, and structuring of affordable housing transactions across the firm’s Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and balance sheet platforms. Based in Dallas, Texas, he works closely with originators and partners nationwide to ensure the successful execution of complex affordable housing financings.
Prior to joining Lument in 2022, Tyler held affordable underwriting and production roles within the agency lending platform at Greystone. He has extensive experience in agency affordable housing programs and specializes in underwriting and structuring transactions involving low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC), Section 8, and other state and local affordable housing initiatives.
Tyler earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
