New York, NY — April 2, 2026 — Lument announces the recent closing of two Fannie Mae DUS® loans having an aggregate principal amount of $25.2 million. Each loan refinanced outstanding debt on one or more of four multifamily housing complexes in Evanston, Illinois, just north of Chicago.

The properties are owned and managed by BJB Evanston LLC, part of a related group of well-established Chicago area-based owner-operators focused on long-term strategies. Other members of the group have closed several recent financing transactions with Lument and Fannie Mae. Evan Hom, a senior managing director for Lument based in New York, led the transaction.

“We’re pleased to continue supporting BJB’s growth with financing tailored to their long-term strategy,” said Lument’s Hom. “These assets are well-positioned in Evanston’s strong multifamily market, and the structure enhances both stability and cash flow.”

The Fannie Mae loans carry fixed interest rates, seven-year terms (with full-term interest only), and 35-year amortizations. Proceeds from the closings will be used by the sponsor for working capital and for repayment of outstanding debt.
