Christian Gorissen is a managing director at Lument, focused on originating and structuring commercial real estate financing solutions for institutional and middle-market clients nationwide. Based in Washington, D.C., Christian brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, capital markets, and investments.
Throughout his career, he has originated and executed over $3 billion in commercial real estate transactions, advising owners, developers, and investors on financing strategies across the capital stack. His experience includes Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD/FHA, bridge financing, structured credit, life companies, banks, CMBS, and other institutional capital solutions.
Christian is known for combining a strong credit background with a relationship-driven approach, helping clients evaluate financing alternatives and structure solutions tailored to their investment and business objectives. His experience through multiple real estate cycles provides him with a broad perspective on both the capital and ownership sides of commercial real estate.
He attended Kettering University and received his MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He is involved with the Real Estate Lenders Association (RELA), the District of Columbia Building Industry Association (DCBIA), and the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC).
