Tracy Peters is a senior managing director on Lument’s affordable housing production team.
Previously, Tracy headed the affordable housing team at Lument predecessor RED Capital Group, which he joined in 1993. He has extensive experience in all facets of affordable housing financing, including bond and tax credit financings, FHA sections 236, 202, and market-to-market refinance transactions involving FHA-insured loans, Fannie Mae enhancements, and letters of credit. He has worked with and advised local housing authorities, non-profit and for-profit developers, and senior housing providers on capital structures and financing.
Tracy is known nationally for his affordable housing expertise and has participated in numerous panels and conferences. He serves on the Ohio Housing Council and is a past president. He is also a board member of the National Housing and Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA) and serves on subcommittees for the Mortgage Bankers Association.
Tracy earned a bachelor’s in finance and accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant. He is a registered representative and registered general securities and municipal securities principal with Lument Securities, and currently holds the FINRA Series, 7, 24, and 53 registrations.
