Alex Florea is a managing director of seniors housing investment sales at Lument. Alex leverages his private equity, operator, and real estate investment trust (REIT) experience to develop actionable, creative, and comprehensive sales and recapitalization solutions for seniors housing clients nationwide. He is based out of Lument’s Chicago office.
Alex was previously managing director of seniors housing investment sales at Blueprint, where he led the national institutional coverage team. In that role, and in partnership with Kevin Lukehart, he provided comprehensive advisory, disposition, recapitalization, and portfolio restructuring services to seniors housing investors, developers, and owner-operators.
Before joining Blueprint, he was a manager of corporate finance and strategy at Care Capital Properties (now part of Sabra Health Care REIT), part of the initial turn-around team and office of the CEO at Enlivant (a TPG portfolio company), and held roles at Ventas and Citigroup.
Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Illinois. Additionally, he graduated from the ASHA Rising Leaders program and is actively involved with PAWS, Wright-Way Rescue, and the Anti-Cruelty Society.
