Jason Smeck

Jason Smeck is a director at Lument specializing in seniors housing and healthcare production.

Jason also held director positions at Lument predecessors Hunt Real Estate Capital and RED Capital Group, where he worked in various capacities including analysis, structuring and underwriting, and business development and originations. Jason’s specific area of expertise is the FHA Loan program, and he is frequently a featured speaker on national panels. He has structured more than $1 billion of direct FHA, Fannie Mae, and bridge loan transactions, and has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate lending.

Jason also oversees Lument’s Associate Development Program, where he is responsible for coordinating the training and development of a team of new analysts, with an end goal of placement within the firm.

Jason earned an MBA from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business and a bachelor’s degree with a major in finance from Ohio University.
