Tim Smits is a director in commercial loan production at Lument and is based in Boston. Tim joined the firm in 2020 and is responsible for agency and proprietary loan production nationwide.
Prior to joining Lument, Tim was a vice president at Capital One Multifamily Finance, responsible for driving agency and balance sheet loan originations. During his seven-year tenure, he and the Boston production team originated more than $2 billion in multifamily transaction volume across all executions, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and balance sheet lending solutions.
In 2019, Tim was named a commercial real estate “Next Generation Honoree” by Connect Media. He has a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Northeastern University.
